The Zeiterion is committed to providing a safe and pleasant environment for our patrons, staff and performers. Here are a few things to keep in mind so everyone can enjoy the show:
If you would like to become a Z Member, please click here.
Guests using offensive language or engaging in disorderly, disruptive, or illegal conduct, or refusing to comply with a policy or a directive issued by the Zeiterion’s personnel may be ejected from the facility and may be subject to arrest.
Ejected guests will not receive a refund for their tickets or be compensated in any way for their loss.
If someone is interfering with your enjoyment of an event, please find an usher or the House Manager.
If you’ve misplaced an item, please contact the box office at (508) 994-2900 in the event the item was left in our Lost and Found. The Zeiterion is not responsible for lost or stolen items.
The City's garage has accessible parking and may offer a special event rate, cash only. The vehicle entrance is located at the back of the building on Acushnet Ave.
Bundle – Purchase tickets to 3 or more Mainstage shows at a time. Use code BUNDLE at check-out.
Card to Culture – For EBT, WIC, and ConnectorCare card holders, directly through the box office.
Groups – Bring a group of 10 or more. Please contact the box office for details.
Requiring a ticket allows us to track of the number of people at an event in case of emergency. Most shows are appropriate for children 4 and up, please check with our box office if you have a question regarding a particular performance. If a child is acting in such a way as to distract other patrons or the performers, we ask that the accompanying adult escort the child out of the venue until it is appropriate to re-enter.
For most tickets, a $6.00 order fee will be added to every order. This fee is NOT per ticket; it is a fee applied to the entire order. A $4.00 ticket fee will be added to most tickets.
Fees help to cover the cost of operating the theater, including administrative/box office staffing and ticketing software.
While fees apply to most performances, fees are waived for select events and low-priced tickets.
If an event is cancelled or postponed, you will have the option to receive a refund or credit, or you may donate the value of your ticket back to The Z.
A cancellation notice will be posted on this website, as well as:
The Zeiterion does not authorize its tickets for resale through third party sellers, including eBay, StubHub, TicketMaster, Craig’s List, and other similar websites.
Tickets purchased through sources other than the Zeiterion box office or official website (www.zeiterion.org) may have substantial service fees above face value and are purchased at your own risk. We do not replace fraudulent tickets. Duplicate, counterfeit or altered tickets will not be honored. We reserve the right to cancel orders linked to predatory reselling practices. On occasion, Zeiterion tickets may be sold directly by an artist through their official site or fan club site.
Additionally, the Zeiterion does not sell tickets to buyers who seek to resell their tickets.
The Zeiterion reserves the right to cancel orders and restrict/revoke Zeiterion Membership privileges of any patron found to be in violation of our ticketing limits and policies. At the Zeiterion’s discretion, this may include voiding all of the patron’s current orders and denying any future ticket purchases.
If you are unable to attend a performance for which you have tickets, please consider giving those tickets to a friend or family member. The Zeiterion does not authorize its tickets for resale through third party sellers.
A ticket limit helps to ensure fairness in the market and mitigates the possibility of large numbers of seats being stockpiled by third-party sellers. Customers who are not making a group sale but attempt to manipulate or exceed ticket limits may have the entirety of their order(s) for that event cancelled.
At an artist's request, ticket limits may be less than 9 per order for their performance.
Late seating can be disruptive to the performer and the audience, which is why latecomers will be seated at the discretion of the artist and Zeiterion staff. Patrons arriving late for a performance may be required to stand at the back of the theater or sit in a pre-designated area of the theater until intermission or an appropriate break allows for seating without disruption to the performance.
The noise and backlight of many devices can be a distraction to the artist as well as fellow patrons.
The Zeiterion welcomes all types of theatrical events, concerts and performances to our stage. Depending on the nature of the performance, there may be occasions when patrons are inspired to show their enthusiasm by standing or dancing at their seats, especially when encouraged by the performers. In such instances, we ask patrons to remain at their seats. In accordance with fire code, all aisles and the stage must remain clear. To ensure a safe, enjoyable experience for all, The Z reserves the right to require patrons to return to their seats and/or remain seated.
