Tickets

For your safety and convenience, The Z offers e-ticketing. Once you purchase a ticket, you will receive an email with an attachment that serves as your ticket. Please use a valid email address at check-out. You may print out the document or retrieve the bar code on a mobile device so it may be scanned for entry. Either way, be sure to save it in a safe place for the night of the show. If you don’t receive an email, you may need to check your spam/junk folder.

If you misplace your e-ticket or are in need of a paper ticket, please contact the box office during business hours, which are Tuesdays through Saturdays. The box office also open for ticket sales two hours before a mainstage performance and 30 minutes before films and Stage Door Live performances.

Will Call

If you’re picking up pre-paid tickets on the night of the show, you will need to go to the Will Call window, which is located outside on the sidewalk before you enter the lobby. Patrons must present a valid ID when picking up Will Call or reprinted tickets. Will Call tickets can also be picked up during regular box office hours. The box office will not release tickets if the name on the ID does not match the name used to purchase the tickets or if the photo on the ID does not appear to be the person retrieving the tickets. If you would like to designate an alternate name for will call pickup, call the box office with the name of the person picking up the tickets, who will also need to present a valid ID.

Discounts

The Z is pleased to offer a Veterans and Senior Citizen Discount. Veterans and seniors (65+) can save 10% on tickets to select shows with valid ID. Available in person at the box office.

The Z is also proud to participate in Mass Cultural Council’s Card to Culture program, the most comprehensive effort of its kind to open doors to arts and culture experiences for low-income families. EBT and ConnectorCare card holders can purchase tickets for $5 each to most events. Available in person at the box office.

Come with a group! Groups of 10 or more can save up to 20% on tickets to select shows and no fees. For details, ask the box office about Group Sales.

If you are unable to attend a performance for which you have tickets, please consider giving those tickets to a friend or family member. The Zeiterion does not authorize its tickets for resale through third party sellers.

The Zeiterion does not authorize its tickets for resale through third party sellers, including eBay, StubHub, TicketMaster, Craig’s List, and other similar websites.

Tickets purchased through sources other than the Zeiterion box office or official website (www.zeiterion.org) may have substantial service fees above face value and are purchased at your own risk. We do not replace fraudulent tickets. Duplicate, counterfeit or altered tickets will not be honored. We reserve the right to cancel orders linked to predatory scalping practices. On occasion, Zeiterion tickets may be sold via Groupon or an artist through their official site or fan club website.

Buy with confidence! If an event is cancelled or postponed, you will have the option to receive a refund or credit, or you may donate the value of your ticket back to The Z.

  • Email: A notification will be emailed to ticket buyers. Please check junk/spam/promotion folders.

Every person attending a performance is required to purchase a ticket, including children and infants.

Most shows are appropriate for children 4 and up, please check with our box office if you have a question regarding a particular performance. If a child is acting in such a way as to distract other patrons or the performers, we ask that the accompanying adult escort the child out of the venue until it is appropriate to re-enter.

Fees

Ticket fees may be added to your order, which is standard in the performing arts industry. Since the Zeiterion handles ticket sales independently, our fees are much lower than theaters that use third-party ticketing companies. For most tickets, a $6.00 order fee will be added to every order, whether purchased online, by phone or at the box office. This fee is NOT per ticket; it is a fee applied to the entire order. A $4.00 ticket fee will be added to every order purchased online or by phone. You are not charged this per ticket fee when purchasing in person at the box office.

Fees help to cover the cost of operating the theater, including administrative/box office staffing and ticketing software.

While fees apply to most performances, fees are waived for select events and low-priced tickets.

The Zeiterion does not sell tickets to patrons who seek to resell their tickets.

The Zeiterion reserves the right to cancel orders and restrict/revoke Zeiterion Membership privileges of any patron found to be in violation of our ticketing limits and policies. At the Zeiterion’s discretion, this may include voiding all of the patron’s current orders and denying any future ticket purchases.

There is a limit of 9 tickets for each show at the Zeiterion.

Groups and organizations that require more tickets to an event may purchase them directly through Group Sales. Not all events are available for discounts, but we'd be happy to assist you with the purchase. Customers who are not making a group sale but attempt to manipulate or exceed ticket limits may have the entirety of their order(s) for that event cancelled. Ticket limits are in place to ensure fairness in the market and to mitigate the possibility of large numbers of seats being stockpiled by third party sellers. We appreciate our patrons’ cooperation in keeping tickets out of the hands of re-sellers and we are always available to answer questions and provide personal service through our Box Office at (508) 994-2900.
